Manas pārdomas

Tā vien liekas, ka būtu pagājusi vesela mūžība kopš pēdējo reiz pabiju Brian K. Vaughan un Fiona Staples radītajā Sāgas sērijas trauksmainajā Visumā, kur viens mazs bērns (Heizela) starp divu karojošu pušu vecākiem(Marko un Alana) spējis rezultēties tik lielā tracī.

Kamēr Heizela/Hazel cietuma nometnē uzsāk gaitas bērnu dārza, bet vecmamma mēģina palīdzēt saglābt nosacītas normalitātes sajūtu, tikmēr meitenes vecāki, lai arī vēl nav pilnībā salabuši, apvieno spēkus un centienus, izglābt Heizelu no gūsta un tomēr atjaunot stipru ģimeni, kāda tā vienubrīd bija.

Starp citiem tēliem, kuri izcēlās uz pārējo fona, pieminēšanas vērti ir divi sensāciju alkstoši žurnālisti, kuru ceļi par nelaimi pašiem krustojas ar algotu slepkavu sauktu par The Will, kuram tā vien šķiet pārdzīvojumu un narkotiku dēļ dažas skrūvītes ir šur tur pazudušas. Kā arī nevar aizmirst par Prince Robot IV, kura statuss kopš pirmās parādīšanās Sāgas sērija ir radikāli mainījies gan politiski un saistībā ar savu vietu karaliskajā hierarhijā, gan ņemot vērā jauno tēva lomu.

Kad koka mājai/raķetei negaidīti uzrodas degvielas sūce un izrādās, ka starpplanētu ceļošanas galamērķa sasniegšanai vispirms nepieciešama ārkārtas apstāšanās, transportlīdzekļa remonts un resursu atjaunošana, Alana un Marko kopā ar nesen atgūto meitu un vēl dažiem ceļabiedriem ir spiesti piestāt uz karadarbības izpostītas apmetnes, uz komētas sauktu par Phang. Lielākie cietēji ir uz komētas vēl palikušie iedzīvotāji, jo jau labu laiciņu notiekošās militārās sadursmes ir kļuvušas par teātri, kuru kaut gan upuru netrūkst dažādu iemeslu dēļ neviena puse nevēlas pārtraukt.

Ar katru nākamo krājumu Heizela tā vien pieaug lasītāja acu priekšā un varetu iedomāties vai spoks vārdā Izabela un reizē meitenes pieskatītāja viņas dzimšanas vēl ir nepieciešama. Diemžēl tikai mirklī, kad neatgriezeniski tiek atņemta izvēles iespēja, kļūst skaidra skaudrā patiesība.

Šo divu krājumu garumā The Will ir redzams slīgstam bezdarbībā, depresīvā noskaņojumā un nespējā atvadīties no tuviem cilvēkiem un kolēģiem, kuri darba pienākumus pildot ir zaudējuši dzīvības. Žēl ka Melu kaķis/The Lying Cat šoreiz dots tik maz iespējas sevi parādīt, bet abu attiecību sakarā The Will vēlreiz nākas saprast, ka savstarpējo uzticību un draudzību iespējams nekas vairs atjaunot līdz ‘’labo dienu’’ līmenim.

Jācer uz pozitīvāku notikumu pārmaiņu vējiem gan saistībā ar vairāku varoņu personīgo noskaņu, gan lielā sižeta ietvaros, par cik šoreiz tas vairāk sliecās uz drūmuma un bēdīgas noskaņas pusi.
