Mana recenzija (pārdomas)/My (thoughts) review

Ko gan darīt, ja tēvs pirms iziet no mājām dot padomu doties pie kaimiņiem, ja pats laicīgi nav atpakaļ?

Five tales that in some way differ from each other but they all have a very dark nature. They’re creepier and spookier than the usual tales that we have seen offered by Disney, but not so much that you couldn’t fall asleep after them or allow younger readers to read them. To maximize the possible effect as I did I would recommend reading this book after it is dark outside. The text is comparatively not that much so if you really try it’s possible to fly through in one sitting.

What would you do if before going away your father would advice to go to the neighbours if he isn’t back when he should? Would you obey him or stay at home hoping for the best?

I would like to say that there are also something for the fans of zombies, and not only once but in two tales. Both of them are quite twisted.

And for the last story the horrible ending leaves the story hanging without clear conclusion so the reader has to free his imagination to try to figure out himself what happens next.

But more than anything else the atmosphere and feelings are created by amazing and wonderful art!
