Mana recenzija (pārdomas)/My (thoughts) review

Gandrīz tikpat ātri rodas nojausma par noslēpumainu ļaundari the Inventor, kurš vismaz tagad sākumā šķiet intriģējošs. Ja pēdējā attēlā domāts šis tēls, tad spridzīgumu, neskaitot superspējas, piedos klāt arī pārdabiskas būtnes.

***************************************

Kamala is a Muslim Pakistani American, despite the fact that she was born and raised in USA what everyone else first sees is the differences – skin color, religion, dissimilar traditions in the family.

Kamala only wants to fit in and be ‘’normal’’, but because she is different it’s hard to answer to herself the question, who she is. Seeing this fictional example it’s not hard to imagine that young people in similar circumstances and situation like Kamala start to look in the direction of the homeland of their parents to search something they can identify with (remembering the recent events in France and also thinking about integration).

What happens with Kamala is something completely different. The way she got her superpowers was quite peculiar ->during the party, to which she went without the consent of her parents, suddenly out of nowhere appears unconsciousness inducing fog, and Kamala (or Ms. Marvel) is the only one that wakes up with such alterations. Maybe that’s because she writes superhero fan fiction. And we don’t have to wait long until the first heroic deed!

Not long after that a premonition of a villain the Inventor is being built up, who at least now seems intriguing. If in the last image it was him then besides the superpowers an added awesomeness will be from supernatural beings.
